Cancellation Policy – Bin Yaber Driving Institute
At Bin Yaber Driving Institute (BYDI), we strive to provide the best possible service to our students. However, we understand that circumstances may arise requiring the cancellation or rescheduling of Training or appointments. Please review our cancellation policy carefully.
1. Practical Training and Internal Practical Test Cancellations
- Notification Time: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
- No-Show / Absent Policy: Students who do not show up for a scheduled Training or Test without prior notification will be charged the full cost of the Training or Test.
- Arrives late or leaves early: If a student arrives late or leaves early by more than 15 minutes from the scheduled Training time, it will be considered as an absence, and the student will be charged the full Training cost.
2. Rescheduling Policy
- Students may reschedule their training or test appointment free of charge if the rescheduling request is made more than 24 hours in advance.
3. File Cancellations / File Transfers
- Refunds for Unused services: If a student wishes to cancel their package, a refund will be issued for the unused services.
- No Refunds: No refunds will be provided for services already utilised.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
- Medical Emergencies: In case of a medical emergency, cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A valid medical certificate may be required to waive any applicable fees.
- Force Majeure: In cases of extreme weather, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable events, BYDI reserves the right to cancel or reschedule training or test without penalty to the student.
5. Refund Requests
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to BYDI’s Customer service office.
- The refund accruing shall be processed within 7-10 working days from the date of the cancellation request and subject to refund approval
6. Policy Amendments
- BYDI reserves the right to modify or amend this cancellation policy at any time. Changes will be communicated to students via email and updated on our website.
