Course Registration: Documents required for UAE Driving License Category 4 in Dubai:

Original Emirates ID

Eye test (from Bin Yaber Driving Institute – head office or to any RTA Authorized Optical Shop).

Original and Valid UAE/Home country or other country license. Translated/Attested if required.

Other Emirates Residents or visa holders can Apply for Dubai License with conditions mentioned below.

If the applicants company branch is available in Dubai with the same company name.

Valid Trade license copy from both the emirates and NOC from Dubai Branch. (Addressed to RTA).

Tenancy Contract and Dewa bill under the name of an Applicant.

Driver Designation in Dubai Residence Visa, Medical fitness report from the RTA approved medical Centre/hospitals


Truck Driving Course – Training Details

A. Regular:

The students can attend regular classes only in daytime from Monday to Saturday.

1. Can take a maximum of 6 hours per week, a minimum of 3 alternative days per week

2. Minimum 1 hour and maximum 2 hours per Day

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday (2 hours per Day)

• Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (2 hours per Day)

• Monday to Saturday (1 Hour Daily)

B. Shifting:

The student can attend classes at their convenient time and day 

1. Can take a maximum of 10 hours per week
2. Minimum 1 hour and maximum 2 hours per day

Other than these, we have various arrangements for corporate accounts.

Heavy Truck License Special Required Documents

For citizens and residents of Dubai
  • Valid Emirates ID
Residents with visas issued in the other emirates
  • Valid Emirates ID
  • Copy of the tenancy agreement approved by ejari or copy of the Title Deed as a proof of residence
  • Copy of the company's trade licence (Dubai branch and the branch that issued the residency)
  • Letter from the company certifying that the customer works in Dubai
  • An official document proving that you are currently a student in Dubai.
For diplomats
  • Valid Emirates ID, if any.
  • Copy of the diplomatic passport
  • A copy of the valid diplomatic card for embassies, consulates, and international organizations instead of the Emirates ID
  • A copy of a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs valid for at least 6 months from the date of submission
Emirati passport holder who is without a family book (Marsoom holders)
  • Copy of the valid passport
  • Copy of the valid Marsoom
For the Emirati passport holder who is the son of an Emirati woman
  • Cop of the valid passport
  • Valid letter from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs stating that the customer's mother is Emirati
Existing file transfer from other institutes in Dubai/Emirates

Original No Objection Letter from previous school/institute, or RTA file from the previous school/institute if registered before April 2017

Learning permit (This is not applicable for any emirate other than Dubai)

Marsom / Bedouin - Customers with no Emirates ID

The letter issued for Marsoom should be presented.

Heavy Truck Driving – Practical Lessons

There are Four stages of Practical Training:

  1. Basic Vehicle Operation
  2. Driving on light to medium density traffic
  3. Driving on medium to heavy density traffic
  4. Skill driving in the yard

Heavy Truck Driving – Practical Test

(Classroom and Online)

Theory lectures are designed to mentally prepare the student for driving safely on the UAE roads. This is an important part of the whole process on the issuance of the driving license. The lectures are conducted in the Head Office Lecture Hall, or you can avail of this service online through our E-Learning portal.

  • 8. Traffic Accidents Case Studies and How to Act in an Accident
  • 9. Knowledge on Articulated vehicle (This requirement is for HMV students only)
